Congrats to the NV Winter Guard for their 2nd pl finish at the MAC Competition @ Shelton HS. The guard scored a 79.3, winning the Equipment, Movement and Design captions. In addition, the guard has been classified in the top Scholastic A group for the remainder of the season.

Model UN and advisor Ms. Finizio had a roundtable discussion about nuclear disarmament. The point of the roundtable was to have all of the countries share their position papers and come to a resolution, which they did successfully.


Mrs. Glick's US 1 Honors class studied the transcendentalist movement and took a nature walk. In the spirit of Thoreau and Emerson, they went outside and journaled based on their five senses, with the goal of presenting to their classes in the next period.
