Mrs. Lee's NVD Korean 3 explored the Korean tradition of calligraphy. Students learned about the preface as a proclamation of Hangul’s purpose. Engaging in calligraphy by writing deepened their appreciation for Korea’s cultural heritage Hangul's thoughtful design. #NVDpride

Students in Mrs. Bell's AP World History class presented their "Autopsy of an Empire" projects. Students had to explain the height of the empire and how it fell, and then write up an "autopsy report" about how the empire died. Students then presented their findings to the class!
Business teacher Mrs. Petrella had Ms. Alisa Feiner, a VP of New Business at PatientPoint, come speak to her Marketing 2 classes about sales and selling to coincide with the unit on personal selling in class!
Demarest Alumni Quinn Postman visited Ms. Miano’s Journalism classes. Quinn is studying Journalism at Syracuse and writes for their paper The Daily Orange. He graduated from NVD in 2023 and was an editor in chief of The Northern Star.
