Why Choose to meet with a Wellness Center Counselor?
It's free! It's convenient! It's voluntary! It's confidential!
Under State (NJSA 18A: 40A-7.1) and Federal Laws (42 CFR Part 2), counseling is confidential.
The only exceptions are in cases of harm to self or others, cases of abuse or neglect or cases of harassment, intimidation and bullying concerns.

You can also ask your school counselor to introduce you to one of us.
*Please do not leave any emergencies on our email or voicemail. If we are not available, immediately seek out an administrator, your school counselor, the nurse, another trusted adult in the building, an adult in your life or call 911.
Counseling is not always about getting advice. Rather, it is a process where you and a counselor can explore issues and develop healthy and effective coping strategies together.
