Madison Holleran Mental Health Action Scholarship
Deadline - 12/9/2019
Effective School Solutions and the Madison Holleran Foundation are awarding four scholarships, each worth $2000 to four high school seniors in the state of NJ who exhibit innovative ideas regarding how mental health supports can be enhanced in the K-12 school system. To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit an essay (no more than 1000 words) about an innovative mental health care initiative that could be implemented at their high school and across NJ. Scholarship awards will be based on the innovation of ideas presented and the opportunity for ideas to make an impact in the state of NJ.

GE - Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarships renewable for up to an additional 3 years-up to $40,000 total per recipient. To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Demonstrate at school, workplace and community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship
B) Demonstrate strong academic performance (min. 3.0 GPA)
C) Plan to enroll in a full-time undergrad course of study towards a bachelor's degree at an accredited 4 yr college or university

Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest
Deadline - 10/31/19
To participate, eligible students are invited to submit an essay about a Latino, past or present, who inspires them and explain why. Essays must be written in English and received by October 31, 2019. Winners will be announced in early December. Prizes include a $1500 cash scholarship and ipads.
