Project Graduation

Dear NVD Parents,

Project Graduation has been a tradition at Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest for over 25 years. It is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by parent volunteers and not affiliated with the school. The concept originated in Maine in 1979 in response to the deaths of 18 teenagers in alcohol-related crashes on graduation night. Seven of the teens were from one community.

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, alcohol and substance free evening for our graduates on graduation night. We are trying to raise enough money to subsidize the cost of the event in order to make it an affordable option for all students. This is not an easy feat, and we could really use your help!

The success of Project Graduation depends on the support of the community. We have been fortunate over the years and are grateful for all the contributions that we have received and hope we can count on your support. All donations will go directly towards funding the Class of 2018 Project Graduation and are tax-deductible. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, purchase an ad, donate raffle/auction items, or make a personal donation to help with the program, please send an email to Project Graduation Chair Sue Argenziano at sueargen@optonline.net or nvdprojgrad@gmail.com.

Please look at the attached links to learn more about what our committee is currently working on. We have a lot of exciting fundraisers planned and we hope to see you and your family at them. Thank you for your support and for being on Team Project Graduation!
